From 16 November, 2022 to 2 April, 2023 a total of 40 luxurious and richly decorated fireplace clocks, made in the 19th century in France, are on display in the new exhibition “The Brilliance of Time” at the Dauderi Department of the National History Museum of Latvia. The collection of clocks belongs to Latvian culture patron and collector Gaidis Graudiņš, whose donation since 1990 forms the core of the “Dauderi” museum’s collection. The magnificent clocks are displayed in the large saloon, where they naturally merge with interiour of the von Bingner family villa built and furnished at the end of the 19th century .
