From 8 September to 6 November at the “Dauderi” department of the National History Museum of Latvia (Zāģeru iela 7, Sarkandaugava) the exhibition of paintings by Maija Elizabete Meņģele “Music in Colours” (Mūzika krāsās) will be on display. In the paintings exhibition the colours manifest as a musical message, movement, running, seduction, dance, flight, and also include contact with world current events. They are addressed indirectly in colour combinations and expressions of painting compositions. The author’s imagination has reached the environment of virtual moods, while the names of the paintings reflect meditative observations.
