The exposition and exhibition halls of the museum are opened
The exposition and exhibition halls of the museum at Brīvības bulvāris 32, Museum of the Popular Front and Dauderi are opened. To ensure that museum visits are safe for both museum guests and employees, the sanitary protocol developed for museums is followed.
Till 15 November the museum will be closed
Following the Cabinet of Ministers’ announcement of a state of emergency in Latvia and enhanced security measures in order to limit the spread of Covid-19, the National History Museum of Latvia is closed for visitors till 15 November, 2021.

Opening hours of the museum during holidays
On 11 November the museum is opened from 10.00 to 18.00. In the exhibition “Latvia’s century” there will be a possibility to see the full set of the Lāčplēsis Military order. Free entry. The museum is opened only for individual visitors. Please follow the safety rules. On 18 November the museum is closed.

Outdoor exhibition “10 Questions to the Voter”
From 12 August to 26 August next to the entrance of the National History Museum of Latvia, Brīvības bulvāris 32, Rīga there is an outdoor exhibition “10 Questions to the Voter. 1920-1990-2020”. The exhibition is opened to visitors free of charge.
